André Pilz,
born 1972 as the son of a German and an Austrian who grew up in Vorarlberg, where he attended high school in Bregenz. After school, he earned his living as a letter carrier and guitar player. 1992 Move to Innsbruck, where he works and studies.
a passionate football fan, he learns the hooligans and skinhead scene familiar in the stadiums and begins to write about songs and lyrics. His debut novel No llores, mi querida - Do not cry, my dear (2005 ) tells the story of the Skinheads Rico Steinmann, who falls in love with the Mexican student magazine. In Germany, not cry, my love for cult novel and celebrated in Internet forums. The director Robert Borgmann is aware of the book and bring it to one of the most prestigious theaters in Germany on the stage: Do not cry celebrates 15 September 2007 at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin premiere, with Marek Harloff as Rico Steinmann and Alwara Höfels as Maga in the lead roles. The play runs for two seasons with great success. Theatertantiemen and readings and having financial independence that allows André Pilz, to act now as a freelance writer.
Two years after not cry comes the second novel Bataillon d'Amour - A Story of love and violence (2007) describes the ordeal of a young woman from Latin America, which is in Germany for forced prostitution . In the same year the author is in the documentation "Hooligans - The Dark Side of Football" interviewed on Swiss television SF 1. 2008 shall André Pilz a scholarship in the province of Vorarlberg, his third novel Man down appears on 6 February, 2010 Haymon Verlag. In July 2010 a theatrical adaptation of Man Down is listed in Hall 7 in Munich. The Theatre Space in Bregenz out a short piece in Part of the "seven deadly sins" in January 2011. A month later, shows the short-Crime "7 fucking tracks" in an anthology in the Red Book-Verlag.
